Sandals Complimentary Weddings
Complimentary wedding services are provided at all Sandals resorts. Weddings services can be arranged to accommodate all sizes ranging from a couple to large groups. All Sandals resorts can perform wedding ceremonies and each resort has several location options including beach ceremonies. Note that Sandals Montego Bay is the only Sandals resort with a wedding chapel. Friends and family are welcome to join the ceremony, however extra charges may apply for additional reception guests.

Once a resort is booked along with request for wedding services, a wedding coordinator will contact you within 48 hours to discuss the details and required paperwork. Please call us for any party that will require multiple rooms. We recommend that all weddings be planned out at least at least several months in advance to ensure availability as well as the necessary time to deliver and process the required paperwork. Required documents can differ among the islands but in general include birth certificates, passports, death certificates and marriage certificates related to prior marriage, and any applicable legal name change papers. Some island require notarization of copies.

Children policy - Since Sandals are couples-only resorts, children and minors under age 18 are not normally permitted on the resort grounds. However, under certain circumstances along with approval from the resort, limited number of children may be allowed to attend the ceremony. The children will most likely not be allowed to join the reception and arrangements must be made for off property accommodations as well as transportation. Please keep in mind this is strictly at the discretion of management at each individual resort and restrictions may be required such as ceremony location. Group Weddings
Group packages available for 5 rooms or more. We coordinate groups of all sizes and can include multiple airport originations and varying lengths of stay among the traveling guests (minimum 3 nights).

Please remember Sandals is a couples-only resort. Within wedding groups, we must get approval from the resort for any single travelers. Singles pay the same rates as double occupancy rooms. Traveling singles are allowed to share rooms in pairs, however, please keep in mind all Sandals rooms are furnished with 1 king size bed. Sandals is strictly limited to guests 18 years and older, children are not allowed to stay at the resort. However, with resort approval, it may be possible for children to attend the wedding ceremony, but they must depart the property at ceremony completion. In general, for destination weddings involving families with children, we recommend Sandals sister resort brand - family all-inclusive Beaches Resorts.

The process to establish a group booking is simple. The wedding couple creates a resort reservation under deposit. Your family and friends can then book and we would link the reservation to the wedding group. All rooms in your group will have their own reservation number with full flexibility of dates of travel, room accommodations, and air flight inclusion options.

As an alternative, for larger groups concerned about reserving enough space availability, we can set up the group under contract with the resort. This generally requires a 10% deposit for all rooms at contract signing, 35% at 90 days before arrival, and final balance at 45 days before travel. Contracts work well for larger groups or situations where 1 party is paying for all guests. Please call us for additional details.

Wedding Group Amenities:
5 to 9 rooms: Complimentary 1 room category upgrade for Bride and Groom (excludes butler service rooms.

10 rooms or more: Welcome cocktail reception, 30 minute cocktail wedding reception, 1 complimentary person for every 12 paid rooms.

Residency Requirements

If getting married, you must meet local residence requirements before ceremony is performed. Jamaica, Antigua, and St Lucia all require 2 full days before you can get married on the 3rd. Bahamas requires 2 full business days at the resort before you can get married.

Government and administrative fees
Jamaica $250, St Lucia $500, Bahamas $500, Antigua $400. Note that Gov't fees are waived by Sandals for Weddingmoon packages of 6 nights or longer in Concierge level room or above.
