Considered the most elegant of all the Sandals Resorts, Royal Bahamian is outside of Nassau on the Bahamas Island of New Providence. Romantics will enjoy the intimate enclaves of the Royal Village section set among secluded lush tropical gardens. Luxurious alternative include the Beachfront 1BR Windsor suites. Two resorts in one, Royal Bahamian also features a private offshore island visible from shore and only minutes by ferry. Some of the finest Sandals gourmet dining can also be found at this resort. Located within the Cable Beach resort area, the nearby casinos and nightlife provide additional activity. The convenience, luxurious romantic atmosphere, and fine amenities not make Royal Bahamian a top Sandals Resort, but one of the finest and most demanded resorts throughout the Caribbean.

The main portion of the resort includes 2 large beachfront pools with a swim-up bar and several smaller pools scattered in the Royal village section. In addition, the offshore island has a pool/swim-up bar. The resort has a beach on the main section as well as the very attractive offshore island beach. The Sandals ferry runs between the mainland and island throughout the day. A dive certification shop is located on property with a training pool. The resort also includes one of the best full service Red Lane Spas.

The most exclusive accommodation is the luxurious Royal Windsor Beachfront 1BR Suite which sits directly facing the ocean along with superb beach views. Similar in style but with an ocean view set back further is the Royal Bahamian Oceanview 1BR Suite. Both 1BR suites feature a separate bedroom, a full balcony or patio, lavish furnishing and luxury bath facilities. A third option within the exclusive line is the Royal Village Honeymoon Suite located in the romantic lush gardens of the Royal Village. All 3 above categories include butler, concierge, and room service. In addition, VIP Rolls Royce airport transfers are provided along with exclusive dining at Gordon's on the Pier.

Within the concierge accommodations, there are 7 categories of rooms and suites, all with various view types and locations within the Windsor block, Manor House, and Royal Village. The closest room to the beach within the resort is the Manor Beachfront Walkout Room and includes a patio just steps away from the beach. Located within the Windsor building - St James Grande Luxe Oceanview Suite and the Royal Honeymoon Oceanview Suite - are identical to each other located on opposite sides of the hallway from each other, both located on floors 1-6, patio on ground floor and balcony on upper floors. A third less expensive suite option within the Windsor building floors 1 thru 3 - the Balmoral Honeymoon Grande Luxe Suite - has identical suite interior but does not have an oceanview. The Windsor Grande Luxe Oceanview Concierge room is the least expensive concierge category within the Windsor building and still provides very good oceanviews along with the concierge service. 2 more concierge non-suite categories are located in the Manor building including the Manor Luxury Oceanfront room which offers no balcony, but does include a large bay window with stunning oceanviews, and the Honeymoon Oceanview Concierge room which is located on floors 1-6 offering either balcony or patio.

Standard category rooms include 7 categories spread around the resort, some with balcony/patio and only the Bahamian Honeymoon Oceanview Luxury Room located in the Manor building offers an ocean view. The least expensive room is the Royal Village Deluxe room (Honeymoon Royal Village Deluxe category is the identical room) and it is located on the first floors of the Royal Village blocks and has no balcony or patio.

Ask Sandals travelers their favorite resort for dining and many will say Royal Bahamian. Baccarat is an elegant setting serving classical French cuisine and also serves breakfast. Masterpiece cuisine is served in the luxurious Crystal Room with white-gloved service. Ristorante Casanova serves a northern Italian menu. Spices is Caribbean/Mediterranean entrees from an open show kitchen. Café Goombay is located on the offshore island and serves traditional Bahamian cuisine. Royal Café is beachside grill serving afternoon and dinner favorites. The Criketer's Pub is an authentic English Pub serving traditional pub food. Gordon's serves dishes of the Sun and Sea and is included for butler category guests, extra charge for non-butler category.
