Our top choice of all Sandals accommodations for a Caribbean honeymoon. While this choice is not for the budget minded traveler, this luxurious suite with magnificent 180 degree views of St. Lucia scenery and sea makes this the ultimate choice for romantic St Lucia honeymoon spots. Enjoy your private pool and jacuzzi perched up along the hillside above the rest of the resort. What a romantic setting enjoyed even more with your private roundtrip transfers from the airport.

(2) Sunset Royal Oceanfront 1BR 2-story Suite with Private Pool - Sandals Regency St Lucia - We always enjoy Sandals Regency for its romantic rustic atmosphere and recommend it for honeymooners with the budget for the resort "bluff" section. This 2-story private villa sitting cliffside with a private pool overlooking the ocean. Also enjoy butler service and private car transfers from the airport. As you can see, we love the Sandals Regency bluff section for honeymooners and enjoy the resort's rustic environment. However, for those with budgets that can not afford the bluff area, we would recommend choosing the St. Lucia Grande Resort as the lower to mid range accommodations are superior. As another Regency slightly less priced resort alternative, consider the Sunset Honeymoon Oceanfront 1BR Villa Suite with private pool which provides combination of great ocean view plus magnificent view overlooking the beach and main resort area below.

(3) Honeymoon Garden Rondoval with Private Plunge Pool - Sandals Grande Antigua - You can not overlook the romance of the Antigua Rondoval suites set in its lush garden atmosphere. The 1st row of the Rondovals overlook the ocean but do not offer private pools. For an Antigua honeymoon, we enjoy the more private intimate setting of the Rondovals set behind along with the fact that they also have private plunge pools. In addition, the Rondovals are set in the resort's Caribbean section which we feel offers more ambience and romance compared to the newer, but more generic, Mediterranean section.

(4) Honeymoon Lagoon Swim-up Room - Sandals Grande St. Lucian - It is real simple, we love St. Lucia the most out of the 4 Sandals destination islands for its romantic appeal and if you can't be at the Regency Bluff area, then you can not go wrong with the swim-up rooms at the Grande St. Lucian. There are more expensive rooms at the Grande St. Lucian, but we feel swim-up rooms are special, very special. This room does not even offer Butler service, but we are willing to overlook that for this special room on this very special island. Overall, putting the island of St. Lucia aside for a moment, comparing the 3 Sandals resorts with swim-ups, we like the Grande St. Lucian swim-ups the best.

(5) Luxury Ocean Villa 1BR Suite with Private Pool and Jacuzzi - Sandals Grande Antigua - New and magnificent, set within Sandals Antigua's Mediterranean Village, these fantastic villas offer 1br luxury furnishings and an expansive private patio area featuring a private plunge pool and jacuzzi. They all have a partial ocean view as well as overlooking the Mediterranean Village section of the resort. The bathroom features marble decor with a roman tub and separate shower.

(6) Beachfront 1BR Swim-up River Suite - Sandals Negril - Jamaica has come a long way over the last 5-10 years and a Jamaica honeymoon is back in style. Sandals Negril oceanfront swim-up river suites are highly recommended. Unlike the swim-ups at the Grande St. Lucian, the Negril swim-ups offer a splendid oceanview setting along the world-class Negril 7 Mile beach. In addition to offering a great laid-back beach resort attitude, the surrounding Negril area offers plenty of nightlife as well. Note: In addition, Sandals Negril's Millionaire 1BR Suite with Private Pool and Wirlpool is absolutely spectacular and perfect for those who would like an intimate garden courtyard with pool and enclosed by privacy walls.

(7) Ultra Grande Luxe Beachfront Rondoval Suite with Private Plunge Pool & Whirlpool - Sandals Grande St. Lucian - These highly demanded Rondoval suites are set along the beach overlooking St. Lucia's Rodney Bay. Not quite as intimate atmosphere as the Antigua Rondovals, these Rondovals still offer private patios and great access to the beach. Keep in mind the Beachfront Rondoval category offers the superior beach views, but actual access to the beach is through the same pathway used by all the Rondovals.

(8) Royal Windsor Beachfront 1BR Suite - Sandals Royal Bahamian - The Bahamas offers a convenient choice for honeymooners and Sandals Royal Bahamian is among the favorites among seasoned Sandals travelers. The exotic offshore island, superb dining, and luxury atmosphere makes Sandals Royal Bahamian a great choice for a Bahamas honeymoon. The Windsor Block is the preferred building and contains many excellent suites overlooking the ocean. We should mention an alternative is the Royal Village section of the resort which offers a very intimate garden atmosphere. As an extra perk, the Butler category rooms at this resort also receive private Rolls Royce airport transfers.

(9) Romeo & Juliet Honeymoon 1BR Suite with Private whirlpool and pool - Sandals Grande Ocho Rios - Sandals Grande Ocho Rios provides a refined elegant atmosphere featuring lush gardens and tropical foliage setting. The Romeo & Juliet suite provides a true private romantic experience in one of the top accommodations across the Sandals brand. Keep in mind, most of the pool villas at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios are actually semi-private pools being shared with up to other 3 other couples. However, this suite provides the ultimate private pool & whirlpool offering couples the ultimate romantic accommodations. Although a fantastic resort in many respects offering a fine assortment of restuarants and large pools, this suite is located off the beach requiring the internal resort shuttle system. In addition, other Sandals resorts feature better beaches.

(10) Bay Roc Villa Suites - Sandals Montego Bay - There are several Bay Roc Villa categories - they are all very similar with varying sizes and furnishings. These are great suites because most of the villas are located beach edge and all have very large tiled patios overlooking the ocean. They are also all located on the quieter part of the resort. We don't necessarily think of Sandals Montego Bay as the best choice for a honeymoon for everybody, mainly because it is a very lively energetic social resort and very active. Some honeymooners like this type of environment while other honeymooners will enjoy a more intimate setting offered by other Sandals properties. However, for livelier honeymoons or celebrated anniversaries, the Bay Roc Villas can not be beat.

Honorable Mentions - It does not have to be top of the line accommodations to enjoy a great Sandals honeymoons as so many couples do (nor do you need to be honeymooners to enjoy Sandals Resorts). All room categories feature similar luxury furnishings - price differences are mainly based on type of view, proximity to beach, type of service (standard, concierge, butler), and special amenity (such as private pool, swim-up, 1BR suite, etc).
