Sandals Negril is propably the purest beach resort within the Sandals brand. With a beach focal point set along the famous Negril Jamaica 7-mile Beach, all rooms/suites are either beachfront or in very close proximity. Featured luxury suites include the swim-up river suites. millionaire suites with private courtyard & plunge pool, and the unique 2-story loft suites. Characterized by its very laid-back casual Jamaican atmosphere, guests enjoy the easy going spirit framed within the refined Sandals luxury and gourmet dining. Guests can also take a cab to the downtown Negril area where they can enjoy activities, cliff diving, and entertainment at establishments such as the popular Rick's Cafe. Located on the western coast of Jamaica, guests enjoy some of the best sunsets in the Caribbean. Excellent service contributes to making this attractive intimate beachfront resort one of the most demanded Sandals destinations.

Location - Negril runs along the western portion of Jamaica and is approx 75 minutes from the Montego Bay Sangster Intl Airport (MBJ). The resort is located on a northern section of Negril's 7-mile beach which is where the larger resorts are found. Smaller hotels characterize Negril's southern section which is where the activity hub is located along with the beach which eventually gives away to cliffs.

Atmosphere - Luxury accommodations and superior service mixed with laid-back casual Jamaican spirit. At times quiet, other times alive socially. Beach is very active with watersports.

Layout & design - 222 rooms/suites on 17 acres including 1,700 feet of beachfront. Series of 1 & 2 & 3-story accommodation buildings. The resort grounds are mostly flat with minimal step climbing and features interior garden areas. Caribbean open-air lobby along with most of the restaurants. Smaller sized pools as the beach is the primary focal point of Sandals Negril.

Sandals Negril features seven restaurants. 24-hour room service available for all concierge and butler level guests.

Bayside Restaurant (International) - primary restaurant with indoor & outdoor seating. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner overlooking the sea. Enjoy buffet breakfast and lunch along with made to order items. Dinner features international a la carte cuisine. No reservations, non-smoking, resort casual attire. Breakfast buffet 7:30-11am. Lunch buffet 12:30-2pm. Dinner 6:30-9:30pm.

Sundowner Restaurant (Caribbean) - Dine overlooking the sea with white-glove service. Classical Jamaican food with asian accent. Indoor air-conditioned or outdoor seating. Resort evening attire, non-smoking, no reservations. Breakfast 8-11am, Dinner 6:30-10pm.

Cucina Romana (Italian) - open-air candlelit tables at ocean's edge. Antipasta bar and served Italian specialties. No reservations, non-smoking, resort casual. Dinner 6-9:30pm.

Barefoot By The Sea (Seafood) - open-air located directly on the sand with white-glove service. Resort casual, non-smoking, no reservations. Lunch 12-3pm, Dinner 6-9:30pm.

The beach is a northern section of Negril's Seven Mile Beach and extends the length of the resort featuring some of the best sunsets within the Caribbean. Rooms & suites at Sandals Negril are all located near the beach including some of the closest beachfront walkout rooms within the entire brand. Luxurious rooms and unique suites characterize the accommodations which are all located within a total of 7 buildings, all either 2 or 3-stories. All rooms with king bed, TV, refrigerator, and Sandals standard room inclusions. Concierge & butler rooms with fully stocked complimentary bar. Sundowner building has an elevator, no other buildings with elevator.
